It should be a memorable night so please join us.

REMINDER: Larry Atkins to discuss, sign his book on media bias WEDNESDAY at P&P!

Local author Larry Atkins will discuss and sign his book, Skewed: A Critical Thinker’s Guide to Media Bias, at the Pen & Pencil Club WEDNESDAY at 8 p.m.

Atkins, a Jenkintown resident who teaches at Temple and Arcadia, offers an analysis how to approach today’s rancorous and partisan media scene. To quote a review by Stasia DeMarco in the Philadelphia Inquirer, “(Atkins) lays out the difference between “clear and balanced” news and advocacy journalism. He highlights the urgency for media consumers to recognize this difference.”

Atkins will sign copies of his book which will be for sale at the event.

Join us for this timely topic and what promises to be a fascinating night. Doors open at 6:3o p.m. and the kitchen will be open. Arrive early for a good seat, enjoy a fine meal and a fun night.
